Jon Tobin likes to simplify the value that Han-Tek brings to its customers, but what's at the root of it is helping manufacturers move products along the line-often with precise timing and within small tolerances-with a goal to improve productivity.
Jon understands the customers’ value equation. "Our clients are looking for creative solutions—we are problem solvers." Developing solutions that fit customers' specifications for delivery time and budget and meeting ROI expectations are the priorities for Jon.
Jon has more than 25 years of experience in the materials handling and automation industry, construction, trucking, and business management. As the owner of
Han-Tek, he is very involved with the day-to-day operations of all major jobs and personally oversees all upper-level business activities and strategic business decisions.
Starting his career in the shop at Han-Tek has given Patrick a unique perspective -- appreciating the evolution of a product. "At Han-Tek I've been given the opportunity to see every aspect of how a product develops from concept to completion -- how they get manufactured, processed, assembled and packaged," said Patrick.
That perspective has helped Patrick evolve his career to focus on customer needs and business development. Patrick also attained an MBA at the University of Rochester Simon School of Buiness. With this skillset, Patrick has developed a strategic business plan and national sales and marketing strategy for Han-Tek in response to the company's shift from materials handling to automation and integrated materials handling solutions.
No two days are the same at Han-Tek. From new business development to identifying mergers and acquisitions, Patrick is leading those discussions. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys being with his growing family. He also loves to ski, fish, and watch NCAA lacrosse.
Taking on challenges at Han-Tek is a common theme, and Tim is familiar with that concept. It’s his responsibility to execute the customer's solution to perfection—the total solution. So whether it’s conveyors, cranes, electrical, mechanical, or some combination, he executes the solution so that customers don’t have to deal with multiple suppliers and coordinate those details.
“Managing multiple jobs while staying on time and within budget is my job, but in the end we are here to help companies stay competitive, which is good for our economy. There’s a lot of satisfaction in my work.” Tim was also involved with the ISO Certification process for Han-Tek and sees that as another advantage to ensure quality for customers. “Our goal with every project is to have it go smoothly. My team is well versed in this area.”
Tim has more than 15 years of experience in the materials handling and automation industry. He is responsible for manufacturing, production and installations management, workforce planning and operation, quality assurance, continuous process improvement, and facilities maintenance.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and taking on projects at home…ensuring on-time delivery and quality. It just never ends!
Aaron is no stranger to materials handling as he grew up working in a similar family business. It motivated him to pursue his Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology at the College of Technology at Alfred.
Aaron has a specialty in overhead crane systems as well as materials handling solutions. He is responsible for the planning and execution of projects including managing costs, time and scope. He has extensive experience in fabrication and the installation process. He takes great pride in creating the right solution for every situation and ensuring that the project goes smoothly.
Though Aaron says his job feels like a hobby, his real hobbies include fixing and rebuilding motorcycles, ATVs, and snowmobiles. And in his spare time he plays golf, hockey, and races motocross.
