Jon Tobin likes to simplify the value that Han-Tek brings to its customers, but what's at the root of it is helping manufacturers move products along the line-often with precise timing and within small tolerances-with a goal to improve productivity.
Jon understands the customers’ value equation. "Our clients are looking for creative solutions—we are problem solvers." Developing solutions that fit customers' specifications for delivery time and budget and meeting ROI expectations are the priorities for Jon.
Jon has more than 20 years of experience in the materials handling and automation industry, construction, trucking, and business management. As the owner of
Han-Tek, he is very involved with the day-to-day operations of all major jobs and personally oversees all upper-level business activities and strategic business decisions.
Taking on challenges at Han-Tek is a common theme, and Tim is familiar with that concept. It’s his responsibility to execute the customer's solution to perfection—the total solution. So whether it’s conveyors, cranes, electrical, mechanical, or some combination, he executes the solution so that customers don’t have to deal with multiple suppliers and coordinate those details.
“Managing multiple jobs while staying on time and within budget is my job, but in the end we are here to help companies stay competitive, which is good for our economy. There’s a lot of satisfaction in my work.” Tim was also involved with the ISO Certification process for Han-Tek and sees that as another advantage to ensure quality for customers. “Our goal with every project is to have it go smoothly. My team is well versed in this area.”
Tim has more than 15 years of experience in the materials handling and automation industry. He is responsible for manufacturing, production and installations management, workforce planning and operation, quality assurance, continuous process improvement, and facilities maintenance.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and taking on projects at home…ensuring on-time delivery and quality. It just never ends!
After 30 years in the materials handling business, Tom knows it’s important to stay abreast of the latest technology to keep his customers competitive, help them find cost savings, and improve productivity. “I earn my customers’ trust by delivering on my promises. Han-Tek stands behind its work and so do I. I see the project to the end – to the complete satisfaction of the customer. I think that’s what has sustained me in the business,” says Tom.
Tom has 30 years of sales and management experience previously serving as President/Sales Director of Kenneth Crosby Companies. Tom has a successful track record of working with Fortune 500 companies, building positive relationships, and taking on challenges. “Helping customers solve their most difficult projects makes this job rewarding.”
Starting his career in the shop at Han-Tek has given Patrick a unique perspective -- appreciating the evolution of a product. "At Han-Tek I've been given the opportunity to see every aspect of how a product develops from concept to completion -- how they get manufactured, processed, assembled and packaged," said Patrick.
That perspective has helped Patrick evolve his career to focus on customer needs and business development. Patrick also attained an MBA at the University of Rochester Simon School of Buiness. With this skillset, Patrick has developed a strategic business plan and national sales and marketing strategy for Han-Tek in response to the company's shift from materials handling to automation and integrated materials handling solutions.
No two days are the same at Han-Tek. From new business development to identifying mergers and acquisitions, Patrick is leading those discussions. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys being with his growing family. He also loves to ski, fish, and watch NCAA lacrosse.
After working on Navy aircraft for ten years, Kevin was looking for an equally challenging opportunity in the civilian sector. The closest match he could find was maintenance and integration of industrial automation and robotics.
His latest challenge is at Han-Tek as Branch Manager in High Point, N.C. Here, he sees himself as a problem-solver. Whether it involves designng a system that puts together a new product, or keeping jobs local by creating competitive improvements, there is never a boring moment for him.
With over ten years of expeience in engineering under his belt, Kevin finds his work rewarding including leading new projects from its initial concept development right through to completion. He says, "If we do a flawless startup with no operator issues, you know it was a job well done!"
Kevin also finds it important to be involved personally and genuinely with his customers. As an integral part of their project, their priorities are always his primary concern.
In his spare time Kevin can be found spending time with his family. "There's nothing more important, and time flies by if you don't stop to enjoy it!"
